Quickest vs Zoho CRM for Indian solar installers

Zoho CRM is a flexible general CRM. Quickest Solar CRM is a solar-only one. This page compares them on what an Indian installer actually does all week, with Zoho's prices taken from its own pricing page on 14 October 2026.

We make Quickest Solar CRM, so read this as a vendor's honest comparison, not an independent review. Facts dated 14 October 2026.

Where Zoho CRM wins

Things it does better than we do. If these matter most to you, take them seriously.

A full general CRM

Custom modules, multiple sales pipelines, workflows, sales forecasting and an API. If your business is not only solar, one flexible tool can serve every team.

A bigger free plan

Zoho lists a free plan for up to 3 users. Ours is 1 user with 10 proposals a month. For a small team that only needs to track contacts and tasks, Zoho is the cheaper start.

Email, calling and forecasting built in

Email integration, mass email, built-in calling and sales forecasting are listed from the Standard plan. We deliberately focus on WhatsApp and the quotation.

Room to grow and customise

Zoho is a large vendor with an API and many implementation partners. If you expect to build unusual workflows later, it has far more room than a fixed solar workflow.

Monthly billing

You can pay Zoho monthly. Quickest is billed annually only.

Where Quickest wins

The solar-specific work that a general tool leaves to you.

Solar is built in, not configured

Enquiry, survey, quotation, subsidy, net metering, installation and O&M are the pipeline from the first login. In a general CRM that structure is a project.

A quote the customer can act on

The subsidy-ready proposal with BOM, GST, labour and net payable is built on the phone at the site visit, then sent on WhatsApp.

Built around Indian channels

WhatsApp as the primary channel, IndiaMART and Meta lead ads on Pro, PM Surya Ghar and DISCOM handling, priced in rupees.

Predictable cost for a team

Three users on Pro is ₹20,997 a year at list price with the solar workflow already in place, versus the setup effort a general CRM needs on top of its licence.

How we checked

Zoho's plan names, India prices, free-plan limit and the tax note come from its official CRM pricing page with the INR currency selected, read on 14 October 2026. Feature lines for Zoho come from the feature lists on that same page; where a capability depends on plan or add-on we write 'varies' or say it is yours to configure rather than guess. Quickest's details come from our own pricing and feature pages. We do not link to Zoho; search for its pricing page to confirm current figures.

Questions people ask

Is Zoho CRM good for a solar company?
Zoho CRM is a capable general CRM and can be configured for solar with custom modules, fields and pipelines. The work is yours or a partner's: the solar stages, system sizing, subsidy maths and quote layout are not built in. It makes most sense for a business that needs a flexible CRM across several product lines.
How much does Zoho CRM cost in India?
On Zoho's official CRM pricing page with INR selected, checked on 14 October 2026, the paid plans per user per month on annual billing are Standard ₹800, Professional ₹1,400, Enterprise ₹2,400 and Ultimate ₹2,600. On monthly billing they are ₹1,300, ₹2,100, ₹3,000 and ₹3,200. There is also a free plan for up to 3 users. Local taxes such as GST are added on top. Zoho changes prices, so check its page before you buy.
Does Zoho CRM have a free plan?
Yes. Zoho lists a free plan for up to 3 users. Quickest Solar CRM has a free plan for 1 user with 10 proposals a month. If you are a team of two or three and only need contact and task tracking, Zoho's free plan is the more generous one.
What does Quickest Solar CRM do that Zoho CRM does not do out of the box?
It ships with the solar work in place: a pipeline with subsidy and net metering stages, PM Surya Ghar subsidy on the quote, a branded proposal with bill of materials, and WhatsApp sending. In Zoho you would configure or buy each of those.
Can I move my leads from Zoho CRM to Quickest?
Export your leads from Zoho to a spreadsheet and bring them in with bulk Excel import, which is on the Pro plan. Our guide to moving from a spreadsheet to a solar CRM covers the column layout that imports cleanly.
Is this comparison independent?
No. We make Quickest Solar CRM, and this page says so at the top. We have tried to state Zoho's strengths plainly and to use only Zoho's own published figures, dated on this page.
