Why It Matters

Why professional solar design is worth paying for

Design is the cheapest stage of a solar project and the one that sets the cost of every stage after it.

01

A weak design is expensive twice

Once when the array does not fit what is actually on the roof, and again when the customer discovers the generation figure in your proposal was optimistic. Both land after you have already spent the acquisition cost.

02

Design demand arrives in bursts

You need three layouts this week and none next month. Hiring for that peak leaves an engineer idle; not hiring for it means bids go out late or go out rough.

03

Approvals decide your cash flow

A plant that is built but not energised earns nothing. Electrical and permit documentation prepared properly the first time is what moves that date forward.

04

Structure is the risk you cannot see

Wind uplift, not module weight, is what governs a solar structure. Calculated designs are the difference between a plant that lasts 25 years and a warranty claim.

How The Two Fit Together

From Lead to Solar Project

Two companies, two jobs. One handles the business you are running; the other handles the engineering the project needs.

To be clear about the relationship: QuickEstimate and Heaven Designs are separate companies. There is no data sync or technical integration between the CRM and the design service — QuickEstimate passes your enquiry to the Heaven Designs team, who scope and deliver the work with you directly.

Process

How It Works

Questions

Common questions

Does QuickEstimate do the solar design work itself?
No. QuickEstimate is a solar CRM — it runs your leads, pipeline, quotations and proposals. The design and engineering services listed here are delivered by Heaven Designs, our solar design and engineering partner. They are separate companies.
Do I need to be a QuickEstimate customer to request a quote?
No. Anyone running solar projects can submit an enquiry. QuickEstimate customers simply have the CRM side already handled, so the design work slots into a sales process that is already organised.
Is there an integration between QuickEstimate and Heaven Designs?
No. There is no data sync or technical integration between the two products. QuickEstimate passes your enquiry to the Heaven Designs team, who scope and deliver the work directly with you.
What happens after I submit the form?
Your enquiry, including the service you selected, is passed to Heaven Designs. Their team reviews the scope, confirms what they need from you, and comes back on the engagement before any work starts.
Which services should I start with?
If you are still selling the project, start with Solar 3D Pre-Design. If it is already sold and you need buildable drawings, start with Solar Post-Design or Rooftop Detailed Engineering. If you are stuck at approvals, start with Solar Permit Design or Electrical CEIG Drawings.
