7 best solar CRM platforms in Sweden

Quickest Solar CRM is our first pick for a small Swedish installer that wants a focused mobile route from lead to branded proposal and visible follow-up. That ranking uses a disclosed proposal-first adoption lens and depends on a Sweden proof step. OpenSolar is the free design-first choice, EasySolar offers Swedish-language design and sales material, and Pylon joins solar and battery proposals with an optional CRM. We compared seven products against SEK and 25% VAT, green technology deductions, post-2025 export economics, network and electrical-installer handoffs, Swedish customer documents, GDPR, accounting, commissioning, and handover.

Which solar CRM is best in Sweden?

Quickest ranks first when a fast mobile proposal, lead ownership, follow-up, and a free pilot matter most. QuickEstimate owns Quickest, and public proof is India-first. SEK, Swedish VAT and invoicing, green technology deduction, network stages, GDPR, language, accounting, local support, and handover remain unverified. OpenSolar is the stronger free design route. EasySolar and Pylon deserve solar-specific tests. Lime CRM and Upsales offer Swedish commercial-platform candidates, while HubSpot fits marketing-led teams. Each needs specialist design, finance, network, and delivery connections where its official evidence does not cover them.

The best solar CRM by use case

A useful shortlist starts with the sales or delivery bottleneck. Each winner below reflects a different buying priority, while the overall ranking rewards a CRM that a solar sales team can adopt quickly.

The Sweden Solar CRM Fit Test

We followed one record from enquiry through roof and bill capture, design assumptions, proposal, customer acceptance, final payment, green deduction, accounting, electrical work, network notification and connection, installation, commissioning, handover, and service. The ranking rewards sales adoption first, then solar design, Swedish-facing commercial fit, delivery, and CRM depth. Local facts come from Skatteverket, Ei, Elsäkerhetsverket, and IMY. Vendor descriptions come from official pages and remain claims to test. Public prices keep their displayed currency. Search results and X posts shaped buyer questions but are not used as compliance or product proof.

01

Solar workflow depth

Can the product carry system details, proposal status, project milestones, and the delivery handoff without rebuilding the process in custom fields?

02

Sales control

Can managers route leads, track activity, automate follow-up, forecast revenue, and see why an opportunity stalled?

03

Proposal and design

Can a rep move from site information to a credible customer proposal, and how much specialist solar design happens inside the platform?

04

Local transaction fit

Does the workflow support the language, currency, tax, communications, documents, and handoffs common in Sweden?

05

Cost to adoption

What setup, migration, training, administration, and extra software does the apparent subscription require?

Evidence standard. This edition uses public product, pricing, regulatory, and market sources checked on Sep 6, 2026. A listed capability may depend on plan or configuration. We did not conduct hands-on tests, so we do not publish numerical product scores.

A Swedish solar CRM must keep the tax, savings, network, and handover versions aligned

A proposal prepared in 2026 cannot reuse the old 60 öre per kWh microgeneration tax credit. It can still involve a green technology deduction, electricity-retailer payment, network-benefit compensation, self-consumption, batteries, and changing hourly values. The installer also needs Swedish documents, correct VAT, customer and property eligibility, registered electrical work, network-company communication, final-payment timing, an application to Skatteverket, as-built evidence, and GDPR controls. Each value needs a source, date, version, owner, and customer explanation rather than a permanent national template.

01

Skatteverket says 25% VAT applies to almost all goods and services, with lower rates or exemptions for specified cases. A solar proposal should use SEK, show whether VAT is included, and preserve the treatment on panels, inverter, battery, installation, roof work, transport, monitoring, service, discounts, and changes. The accountant should approve product and transaction rules. Test deposits, final invoice, credit, correction, and rounding. A green technology deduction reduces what an eligible customer pays but should not be confused with changing the VAT rate.

Skatteverket: VAT rates and exemptions ↗
02

The green technology deduction is 15% of labour and material cost for a grid-connected solar system and 50% for a system storing self-produced electricity or an EV charging point, according to Skatteverket. Its current page gives an annual maximum of SEK 50,000 per person. Eligibility depends on the person, property, tax available, work, material, payment, and other conditions. The proposal should show the gross amount, estimated deduction, customer payment, assumptions, and a warning that Skatteverket determines the final outcome.

Skatteverket: Green technology deduction ↗
03

Skatteverket explains that the customer receives the green deduction directly on the installer's invoice and the installer then requests payment from the agency. After 31 December 2024, final payment determines the deduction year. The request must reach Skatteverket by 31 January after the installation is finally paid. Multiple green installations should be separated on the invoice, and the business must be able to show its calculation. The CRM needs property owners, personal allocation, work and material split, payments, completion, final payment, submission, response, rejection, correction, and evidence.

Skatteverket: Green technology for businesses ↗
04

Skatteverket states that the microgeneration tax reduction applies to electricity delivered before 1 January 2026. From that date, no tax reduction is given for electricity fed into the network. The former calculation used 60 öre per kWh within limits, so an old proposal can materially overstate 2026 economics. Remove that line from current scenarios, retain it only for historically relevant periods, and date every calculation. Battery and self-consumption value should be modelled from defensible inputs rather than presented as an automatic replacement.

Skatteverket: Microproduction of renewable electricity ↗
05

Ei says a generation system must connect to the electricity network to sell self-produced power. The owner can sell surplus to an electricity retailer, which pays per fed-in kWh. Ei also describes network-benefit compensation from the network company, with the amount varying by operator. The CRM should store network company, retailer, agreements, price source, meter, connection status, imported and exported data, network charge, compensation, and effective dates separately. It should not call Sweden's arrangement one fixed net-metering tariff.

Energimarknadsinspektionen: Microproduction of electricity ↗
06

Ei's current consumer guidance also discusses connection duties and its view that producers should pay network input charges reflecting actual costs under the EU electricity-market framework. Commercial terms can therefore differ by network and change over time. The proposal should separate generation, self-consumption, retailer sale, network-benefit compensation, taxes, charges, and battery behaviour. A salesperson should not promise one export rate or zero network cost simply because a property is a microproducer.

Energimarknadsinspektionen: Microproduction of electricity ↗
07

Elsäkerhetsverket provides a public service for checking whether an electrical installation company is registered for the relevant work and says registered businesses need a self-audit programme that ensures competent people perform and check the work. The CRM should identify the legal installation company, registration, responsible roles, subcontractors, design and work version, checks, and deviations. The relevant network company's current pre-notification, completion notification, meter, and energisation steps must be confirmed rather than copied from one operator into every project.

Elsäkerhetsverket: Check a registered electrical installation company ↗
08

IMY explains that a processor agreement is needed when a processor handles personal data for a controller and addresses documented instructions, subprocessors, security, assistance, evidence, and return or deletion. Its third-country guidance says making data available to a recipient outside the EU or EEA can be a transfer that needs a permitted mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, and sometimes additional measures. Review locations, support access, subprocessors, retention, deletion, export, and termination instead of assuming EU hosting alone settles GDPR.

Best free design-first platform

OpenSolar

OpenSolar project CRM ↗

OpenSolar is the strongest free design-first choice, while current Swedish calculation and operating fit still need proof.

Core accessFreeDesignSolar and storageCRM viewsTable and KanbanExtensionAPI

OpenSolar publishes solar design, proposals, project table and Kanban views, workflows, actions, schedules, documents, roles, permissions, and an API. This provides a substantial design-to-sale test without a core licence fee. OpenSolar has promoted a Sweden financing partnership, but a vendor post does not verify today's customer terms, deduction handling, or complete Swedish installer workflow.

Validate Swedish imagery, irradiance, snow and loss inputs, equipment, hourly values, retailer and network assumptions, batteries, SEK, VAT, green deductions, documents, network stages, and accounting. Change a signed design and trace price, deduction, materials, installation, and handover. Review partner presentation, GDPR terms, transfers, paid services, support, and full export.

Why shortlist it
  • Design, proposal, and CRM together
  • Free core model
  • Workflow and permission features
  • API available
Check before buying
  • Validate Sweden design inputs
  • Test VAT, deduction, and finance
  • Review partner and GDPR terms
  • Trace revisions to handover

Choose it if: solar design and proposal quality are the main priorities and a free core appeals. Choose another platform if: the company needs proven Swedish accounting and field delivery in one contracted suite.

Best Swedish-language solar route

EasySolar

EasySolar Sweden ↗

EasySolar has a Swedish-language product presence, but translation alone does not prove deduction, network, accounting, or GDPR readiness.

Language routeSwedish pageDesignSolar designSalesProposal toolsSweden priceConfirm

EasySolar's Swedish page presents solar design, proposal, visualisation, and sales functions to local-language buyers. It also appeared first for the Swedish search about sales tools for growing solar businesses. That makes it a relevant shortlist candidate, especially for a team that wants customer-facing Swedish material rather than translating every global template itself.

Generate the complete Swedish journey and have a fluent reviewer check it. Verify SEK, 25% VAT, green deduction calculations and applications, final-payment timing, removal of the 60 öre credit, retailer and network values, electrical and grid stages, accounting integrations, GDPR processor and transfer terms, support, price, revision ownership, as-built evidence, handover, and export.

Why shortlist it
  • Swedish-language product presence
  • Solar-specific design and sales
  • Customer visualisation
  • Relevant local search visibility
Check before buying
  • Review every Swedish document
  • Test deduction and accounting
  • Verify network and handover flow
  • Confirm privacy, support, and price

Choose it if: Swedish-facing design and proposal material matters and the local acceptance test succeeds. Choose another platform if: the team needs a deeper general CRM or already has a preferred design engine.

Pylon documents solar and battery design, web and PDF proposals, design history, integrations, and an optional solar CRM. Its page says new users receive five Standard Project credits and teams can add unlimited users. That supports a hands-on evaluation across sales and design rather than a decision based only on a polished vendor demonstration.

Confirm the dollar currency, project rules, CRM add-on, fees, VAT, and renewal. Test Sweden locations, production, equipment, batteries, hourly and export inputs, SEK, green deductions, Swedish text, finance, network stages, GDPR, support, and handover. Best Swedish-facing general CRM

Lime CRM

Lime CRM ↗

Lime CRM is a credible Swedish-facing commercial platform, with solar engineering and deduction operations requiring configuration or connections.

Market routeSwedish-facingTypeGeneral CRMProcessesSales and serviceSolar designExternal

Lime CRM presents a configurable platform for customer, sales, workflow, and service processes with Swedish product and support positioning. This can suit an established installer that values local commercial implementation and a long-term service record more than an all-in-one solar design product. A general CRM also leaves room for electrical, charging, storage, and maintenance work.

Ask Lime to demonstrate the actual Swedish solar process, not a generic pipeline. Connect design, SEK quotes, VAT, signatures, green deduction, accounting, network notifications, installation, equipment assets, warranty, and service. Verify GDPR roles, subprocessors, transfers, permissions, audit history, retention, deletion, API limits, support ownership, implementation cost, upgrades, export, and the treatment of rejected deductions.

Why shortlist it
  • Swedish-facing vendor route
  • Configurable sales and service

  • Useful long-term customer record

  • Add specialist solar design
  • Test deduction and accounting integrations
  • Map network and field evidence

Upsales

Upsales pricing ↗

Upsales may fit a Swedish B2B solar sales team, but current pricing and the entire technical delivery path need direct proof.

Upsales is a Swedish commercial platform aimed at B2B pipeline, activity, marketing, and growth work. It is relevant where a solar company sells to property owners, housing companies, farms, or commercial portfolios and needs account-level visibility. The reviewed pricing capture did not provide usable current terms, so cost and package comparisons must come from a direct official proposal.

Require a demonstration from account and site through design, SEK quote, approval, VAT, invoice, network work, installation, handover, and service. Test Swedish templates, green deduction only where relevant, post-2025 calculations, account and facility hierarchy, GDPR processor terms, transfer, permissions, accounting, APIs, errors, implementation, support, renewal, and export. HubSpot can organise acquisition and pipeline, while the Swedish solar operating stack around it may be substantial.

Free usersUp to 2ContactsUp to 1,000StrengthMarketing and salesSolar designExternal

HubSpot's free CRM covers contacts, lead management, forms, email, meetings, and pipeline for a small user group. It can suit an installer whose first problem is consistent acquisition and response. Paid marketing, sales, service, content, and data products extend the record, but contacts, seats, onboarding, and several hubs can alter the price quickly.

Price the complete Swedish stack: solar design, SEK quotation, VAT, green deduction, accounting, signatures, network process, field delivery, assets, service, and messages. The Three-Deal Proof

Run the same three opportunities in every shortlisted CRM: one ordinary lead, one revision-heavy project, and one deal that already failed. This removes demo theatre and exposes repeated entry, stale documents, weak mobile adoption, and missing local support.

  1. 1
    Run the clean deal

Capture a real lead, assign it, create the proposal, schedule follow-up, record acceptance, and hand it to delivery.

  2. 2
    Change the assumptions

Change the system, equipment, price, payment route, and installation date. Identify every stale record.

  3. 3
    Recreate a failure

Use a duplicate, missed follow-up, rejected proposal, or delayed job and ask the CRM to show what happens next.

9 requirements to verify in Sweden

01

SEK, 25% VAT, and Swedish invoice output

Generate a homeowner solar and battery quote, a commercial quote, deposit, final invoice, variation, credit, and refund in SEK. Check VAT-inclusive customer display, net and VAT totals, legal names, organisation and invoice details, dates, payment terms, bank reference, rounding, and accounting export. Have the accountant approve every tax and invoice rule. Verify the vendor's own billing currency, VAT, contract entity, renewal, and exchange treatment.

02

Green technology deduction eligibility and allocation

Test one owner, two owners sharing an annual maximum, solar only, eligible battery with solar, customer-bought materials, ineligible work, and a customer without enough tax. Store personal and property eligibility, work and material, other costs, gross amount, estimated deduction, allocation, customer payment, completion, final payment, consent, application, agency result, rejection, correction, and customer balance. Keep sensitive identifiers restricted.

03

Final payment and Skatteverket request timing

Simulate a deposit in one year and final payment in the next. Confirm which year the deduction uses, whether every qualifying payment is included, and that the request is queued before 31 January after final payment. Test cancelled work, partial completion, changed owners, repayment after rejection, and a corrected application. The responsible finance person needs an exception list and audit trail, not only a project reminder.

04

Post-2025 savings and battery assumptions

Remove the 60 öre tax credit from electricity fed in from 1 January 2026. Store consumption intervals, self-consumption, production, degradation, losses, hourly prices, retailer purchase agreement, network-benefit compensation, network input charges, battery usable energy, efficiency, cycling rule, control strategy, and source dates. Change one value and verify the proposal, approval, customer explanation, and management forecast use the same revision.

05

Network company, retailer, meter, and notification

Capture property, facility ID where used, network company, electricity retailer, main fuse, proposed generation, inverter, battery, export limit, preliminary check, pre-notification, questions, approval conditions, completion notification, meter work, connection, energisation, agreements, and effective date. Test the company's real network territories. Forms, portals, thresholds, and terminology can vary, so keep checklists configurable and sourced.

06

Registered electrical company and self-audit evidence

Verify the installation company in Elsäkerhetsverket's service and record the organisation, work type, responsible people, subcontractors, competence, approved design, risk assessment, checks, deviations, corrective action, as-built documents, and sign-off. Determine what belongs in the company's self-audit programme and what the CRM may evidence. Software does not make an unregistered or out-of-scope installation lawful.

07

Swedish documents and customer communication

Generate the enquiry response, privacy notice, survey, proposal, savings assumptions, contract, consumer information, deduction explanation, invoice, payment reminder, schedule message, network update, handover, warranty, and service message in Swedish. A fluent reviewer should check terminology, å, ä, ö, dates, decimal commas, SEK spacing, tone, legal text, version control, fallback language, mobile screens, portal, and generated PDFs.

08

GDPR processor, subprocessor, retention, and transfer terms

Map controller and processor roles, purposes, lawful bases, notices, consent where used, access, correction, objection, deletion, retention, audit events, security, breach assistance, subprocessors, support access, transfers, safeguards, backups, and contract termination. Test bills, personal identifiers, roof images, signatures, financing, messages, monitoring, and service records. Require a usable export and documented deletion or return process.

09

Accounting, commissioning, and durable handover

Identify the exact Fortnox, Visma, Björn Lundén, or other finance edition and test customers, items, VAT, deduction lines, payments, credits, status, errors, and duplicate prevention. The handover should include accepted scope, changes, as-built design, equipment and serials, photos, checks, commissioning, network evidence, warranties, manuals, monitoring, training, signatures, defects, service owner, customer access, retention, and export.

Contract rule: A country name on a vendor website does not prove that local billing, documents, integrations, support hours, or regulatory workflows are included in your plan. Put each required capability in the order form.

What does solar CRM software cost in Sweden?

Compare the complete SEK workflow rather than a converted seat rate. Quickest publishes INR terms, OpenSolar describes its core platform as free, and Pylon shows dollar prices whose currency must be confirmed. EasySolar's current plan and Sweden terms need checking. Lime CRM and Upsales require the relevant Swedish commercial proposal. HubSpot grows by products, seats, and contacts. Price VAT, users, projects, proposals, design, maps, storage, Swedish templates, signatures, accounting, payment, network steps, implementation, migrations, support hours, API calls, renewal, export, and the staff member who monitors deduction or integration exceptions.

A Swedish-facing general CRM may reduce language and support friction but still needs solar design, green-deduction, accounting, network, and field-delivery work.

Include the cost of rejected deduction requests, stale 60 öre assumptions, accounting sync errors, network delays, and missing handover evidence in the pilot review.

Run the price comparison with one residential solar case, one solar and battery case, and one commercial project. Record the employee time spent translating, checking calculations, correcting finance data, chasing network status, and rebuilding handover files. Ask each vendor to price the same scope and contract period. This creates a useful operating comparison without inventing a return on investment or treating a low seat fee as the total cost.

Why Quickest Solar CRM ranks first in Sweden

Quickest focuses on lead ownership, a mobile proposal, and next follow-up, which can be a manageable first change for a small sales team.

One free user and ten monthly proposals allow a real adoption test before a broader migration or integration commitment.

The first-place recommendation remains conditional because Swedish currency, tax, deduction, network, language, GDPR, support, accounting, and handover capabilities are unverified.

Frequently asked questions about solar CRM in Sweden

What is the best solar CRM in Sweden?

Quickest ranks first under our proposal-first adoption lens, with QuickEstimate ownership disclosed and Sweden localisation unverified. OpenSolar is the free design-first choice. EasySolar provides a Swedish-language solar route, and Pylon joins design with optional CRM. Lime CRM, Upsales, and HubSpot fit general commercial needs. Does Quickest support SEK, Swedish VAT, and green deductions?

We found no verified public evidence for native SEK, 25% VAT, Swedish invoices, green technology deductions, Skatteverket requests, network stages, or Swedish accounting. Quickest's public evidence is India-first. Require a real solar and battery case, final-payment timing, deduction rejection, accounting export, and written Sweden commercial and data terms.

What green technology deduction applies in 2026?

Skatteverket currently states 15% of labour and material for a grid-connected solar installation and 50% for qualifying storage of self-produced electricity and EV charging, with a SEK 50,000 annual maximum per person. Eligibility has detailed conditions. Treat the proposal figure as an estimate and verify the current rule and customer facts.

Does Sweden still give 60 öre per kWh for microgeneration?

Skatteverket says the microgeneration tax reduction applies to electricity delivered before 1 January 2026. No tax reduction is available for electricity fed into the network from that date. A 2026 proposal should remove it while separately modelling retailer payment, network-benefit compensation, network charges, self-consumption, and battery value from dated sources.

Is Sweden a net-metering market?

Avoid one generic label. Ei describes sale of surplus to an electricity retailer and separate network-benefit compensation from the network company. Prices and terms vary, and the network relationship has its own connection, meter, and charge rules. Store each agreement and effective date rather than applying one national export tariff.

Can a CRM submit green deduction requests to Skatteverket?

A CRM may connect to the finance or application workflow, but support is unverified for every shortlisted vendor. Test owner allocation, property, qualifying work and material, completion, final payment, application, response, rejection, correction, repayment, audit, and accounting. The installer remains responsible for an accurate request and evidence.

Does GDPR require Swedish CRM hosting?

The IMY sources reviewed do not create a blanket Swedish-hosting rule. They require a compliant controller and processor arrangement and restrict transfers outside the EU or EEA. Review subprocessors, support access, transfer mechanism, additional safeguards, security, retention, deletion, return, rights assistance, breaches, backups, and export.

Which free CRM can a Swedish installer test?

Quickest offers one user and ten proposals monthly. OpenSolar publishes a free core solar platform. HubSpot states up to two users and 1,000 contacts. Compare the cost of Swedish design data, documents, accounting, deductions, network work, support, project delivery, and administration around any free entry plan.

What belongs in a Swedish solar handover?

Keep the accepted scope, changes, as-built design, equipment and serials, electrical checks, photographs, commissioning, pre-notification and completion evidence where relevant, meter and connection status, warranties, manuals, monitoring, customer training, invoices, deduction state, signatures, defects, and service contact. Confirm retention, customer access, and complete export.
